We are seeking an Ab Initio Specialist for our client in the insurance industry to enhance the efficiency and quality of their data management processes by implementing a Metadata Hub (Data Catalog) using AbInitio. This hub will act as a central platform for managing and utilizing metadata to support business decisions.
Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing data connections from various surrounding systems to the catalog and defining application roles. Additionally, you will create an operational model and provide technical advice to ensure effective implementation and use of the Metadata Hub.
Project Details:
• Starting period: July 1st
• Ending period: December 31, 2024 (extension possible)
• Location: Remote/Münich 5%
• Capacity: 2-3 days/week
• Language: German
Must-have experiences:
• Introduction and establishment of a data catalog (ideally AbInitio) in the context of insurance (>3 years)
• Building processes in and around a data catalog
• Databases, ETL software
• ITIL-compliant processes and project management
