Description
For one of our end customers in Hamburg (remote) we are currently looking for a:a Backend Scala Developer:in on a freelance basis or in permanent employment via a service provider.
Tasks:
Backend development in a cross-functional team with two backend developers and currently one frontend developer.
- Development of a web-based application with focus on the presentation of key figures: among others with the help of tables, charts and maps.
- Support of the backend team in new / further development as well as maintenance of the application.
- Agile way of working according to Kanban or Scrum
- Documentation of implementation and changes (Confluence, Jira)
- If necessary, support of go-live and care phases
Requirements:
must have
- Techstack: Scala, Akka/Akka Streams
- Senior Developer
- Social competence and ability to work in a team (experience in a team)
- Fast comprehension / Ability to learn quickly
- Sound knowledge in the field of stream processing
should have
- Techstack: AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in a cloud environment.
could have
- Pair Programming Experience
- Techstack: MongoDB, KeyDB, Neo4j
- Spark/Spark streaming

- Location: Hamburg (Remote)
