Background information:
In the Digital Workplace Solutions cluster, the goal is to achieve the best digital work experience for all employee:s in the Group. The challenge is that work as such is changing faster and more radically than before. Today’s basic workplace services are reaching their performance limits. The old production model hinders flexibility and speed of change. Rigid product concepts are less and less suited to the digitization needs of the customer’s users. Increasing risks in terms of operational stability are in contrast to the exponential growth in the need for services related to digital working.Therefore, a platform is to be designed that provides users with high-quality and precisely tailored services.
Task Description:
– Strategic, technical and methodological consulting in the requested task area on the development of new platform-based business opportunities, on strategic management topics as well as on architecture management with cloud-specific ICT reference.
– Development of strategic business and project goals together with the responsible persons to NWP as well as the further stakeholders as sparring partner
– Obtaining requirements and bringing together stakeholders
– Support requirements management for NWP platform with business model on service and producer side.
– Participation in the development of the requirements management for the implementation project
– Technical concretization and evaluation of the requirements with the customer
– Advising on the design of a future-proof, secure and high-performance digital workplace service offering and advising the management group / stakeholders as well as providing methodological support to the client
– Development of a holistic decision template based on the methodology of benefit value analysis
– Derivation of the benefit argumentation and value contributions for the customer (technical and economic)
– Presentations on technically complex topics
– Facilitation of workshops on technical architecture topics in the subject area of
– Assisted in the creation and anchoring of a business case model for the platform and cloud services and products based on it for subsequent further development in the program
– Support regarding opportunity and risk assessment for portfolio and business model of the customer
– Support in development & maintenance of the roadmap for the implementation project NWP
– Support in the evaluation and presentation of strategic options for action for the New Workplace (at C-level).
Additional information:
1.5 days remote / 3.5 days on site in Frankfurt
Must Haves:
– Very good(ish) knowledge / expertise with established, world-leading cloud technologies in appropriately sized projects.
– Extensive professional experience in planning and implementation of workplace architectures in larger environments
– Extensive, up-to-date knowledge of MS Azure in the Workplace environment and overview knowledge in several relevant technologically related areas
– Knowledge of ITIL processes and ability to link them to business transactions (e.g., purchase orders, clearances, deliveries, recovery, set-up, tear-down, etc.) using platform technology
Nice to Have:
– Ability to develop technology visions with a time horizon of up to 5 years. Translates the visions into architectural strategies across divisions and accompanies strategy implementation. Is technological representative and designer of analysis and decision-making processes with strategic significance.
– Knowledge in workplace services and their monetization.
– Experience with scaling and orchestration
– Experience working with the MS Power platform
– Ability to consciously analyze opportunities and risks and implications in complex problem situations as a designer of analysis and decision-making processes, build action on them, bring about solutions in the performance environment
