Our client is looking for two data migration engineers for the Migration of data from NetApp OnTap (CVO) to new cloud-based Landing zones.

Tasks:
– Data analysis with hands-on using tool to analyse the current data sets
–> Conduct a content analysis of the NetApp CVO folders, assigning the file service use cases and determining the migration target, following the Blueprint Roadmap.
–> Identify risks and issues and maintain mitigation log.
–> Use migration tools such as NetApp CVO Analytics tool, MigRaven etc.
– Technical data migration to support in technical meetings with application managers, folder managers and solution architects in determining whether the landing zone requirements suits the need of the business and aligns with the specific blueprint roadmap’s landing zone
–> Conduct technical POC work for specific cases on different landing zones
–> Conduct migrations, the validations and provide hypercare support when required.
–> Perform and document migrations with high level of quality
–> Provide technical feedback with team, as required
Profile:
– Hands-on knowledge of cloud migration tools (NetApp CVO Analytics tool, MigRaven or other) and processes and data integration techniques
– Ability to perform data analysis and mapping to align data structures between source and target systems
– Familiarity with cloud platforms utilizing & migrating to new cloud-based Landing zone such as SharePoint Online (SPO), Azure Files and Azure NetApp Files.
– Experience in data validation, cleansing, and testing for accuracy
– Understanding of data security and compliance requirements
– Experience with performance tuning of data migration processes
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple migrations
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills
– English fluent
