As a reference member, we are looking for an experienced UX Writer service.
The energy market is evolving in both the production and consumption of energy. The ongoing electrification puts increasing demands on the energy system and infrastructure. In the adoption of digital technologies, the Company is digitizing processes for operators in the maintenance and expansion of our infrastructure.

The UX Writer service will craft compelling and user-centric copy to enhance user experience and meet user needs. The end delivery of this project is engaging and intuitive content, evaluated by users. The content is integrated into the high-fidelity design provided by the UI designer, based on the copy concepts or guidelines provided by the UX Writer.
The UX Writer will mainly work for the product line – Development Frameworks & Services and be tasked to create compelling UX content for technical products facing developers, designers and end users.
Tasks:
• Write clear, concise, and user-friendly copy for our products, including interface language, microcopy, labels, and navigational elements to support users and teams in achieving their objectives.
• Develop and implement UX Writing guidelines, taxonomy, best practices and help set the strategy four our product´s content.
• Regularly perform quality assurance and audit UX copy to identify inconsistencies and develop improvements.
• Work closely with the UX design, product management, and development teams to understand the user journey and create cohesive and empathetic narratives.
• Advocate for the user and maintain our brand voice throughout all product design and copy.
• Develop or edit both low and high-fidelity prototypes utilizing existing components in Figma and use these to demonstrate design solutions.
• Independently and proactively identify and undertake projects that span multiple teams, potentially facilitating or co-facilitating design sprints and workshops to initiate these projects.
• Participate in user research and usability testing to understand user needs, incorporate findings into your writing and document it in our Research Repository
• Contribute to team efforts by actively participating in broader UX Chapter activities such as feedback sharing sessions and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
• 4+ years experience writing and editing UX copy
• Demonstrated experience in user-centric product writing, which could include work in hardware, software, a digital agency, or other relevant product domains.
• 4+ years experience in design thinking in context of agile projects
• Ability to create lo-fidelity wireframes in Figma and user flows
• Attention to details and works delivered in high standard
• Proficient in design software (Figma) as well as presentation software (PowerPoint, Miro).
• Ability to use a design system in Figma is a plus
• Ability to use the research tool Condens and localization tools (Phrase) is a big plus
• Formal qualification (master degree, certification,…) in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, Literature, Business, Marketing, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• A portfolio that showcases UX-centric writing samples and style guidelines.

– Location: Working location will be mainly in the Brussels area (homeworking possible 1-2 days a week)
