Our client plays a major role in the Belgian and European energy landscape, building sustainable, green and reliable energy infrastructure. The company is seeking freelancers to work remotely and locally on various national and international projects. Fluency in French or Dutch is required.
Main tasks:
Service description:
• Interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Develop data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Design and create data reports using Power BI.
• Write and debug Python scripts for data manipulation and analysis.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into data solutions.
Requirements:
• 1 year proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (Python).
• Fluent in English. Dutch, French is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools is a plus.
• Experience with other data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, etc. is a plus.
