Position Summary
The EMEA Senior Program Manager will report directly to the Program Manager and indirectly to the Global IT PMO Director. This role is responsible for the planning, implementation, and tracking of a large integration program comprising various long-term inter-related programs, each consisting of multiple projects with specific deliverables. Responsibilities include adhering to an overarching Integration Framework and managing programs in line with the defined Project Management Framework (PMF). The scope of the project may expand to include additional regions beyond EMEA based on need and execution success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
– Plan and define the governance model for the Order-to-Cash Integration Program covering business processes such as Demand and Supply Planning, and Order through Fulfilment.
– Collaborate with IT Leadership to define the scope and communicate the processes of the Integration Program.
– Develop and manage a detailed work plan, determine necessary resources, and maintain a resources plan over time.
– Prepare and present program and project schedules to executives and ensure they are regularly updated.
– Establish evaluation metrics for the program and its components upon completion.
Staff the Projects
– Recruit and select staff with appropriate skills for project and administrative roles.
– Contract consultants as needed.
Implement the Program/Projects
– Execute the integration and its programs in accordance with approved plans.
– Maintain documentation and ensure all program information is securely managed.
– Monitor program progress and adjust as needed to ensure successful completion.
– Maintain quality standards across all project teams.
Control the Program/Projects
– Provide comprehensive reports on program progress to management and stakeholders.
– Manage budget and monitor financials, reporting regularly to senior management.
Evaluate the Program/Projects
– Ensure deliverables are timely, within budget, and meet quality standards.
– Conduct evaluations post-completion to assess outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
– Expertise in Project and Program Management methodologies.
– Proven experience in managing large-scale integration programs.
– Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, budget management, and database management tools.
Education and Experience
– Bachelor’s degree required, with 7-10 years of relevant management experience.
– Experience in IT Applications lifecycle management, using both traditional and agile methodologies.
– Desired certifications: PgMP, PMP, Prince2; familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
– Supervisory and mentoring experience required.
Travel Requirements
– Minimal travel, including some international travel, may be required.
– May require occasional evening and weekend work.
