Role: Freelance Senior Business Intelligence Developer
Rate: €85 to €95 per hour
Location: Munich
Duration: 6 months with a possible extension
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer for a financial services project based in Munich. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing mission-critical BI applications, leveraging AWS and Power BI technologies to deliver data insights and reporting solutions that drive strategic decision-making. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a dynamic industry, focusing on automation, data optimisation, and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
BI Development & Implementation:
Develop, test, and implement scalable data, reporting, and analytic solutions within AWS.
Design and maintain critical BI applications using Power BI and AWS services.
Build advanced SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and Power Pivot models to enhance reporting capabilities.
Power BI Solutions:
Architect and document comprehensive Power BI solutions, ensuring seamless integration with AWS cloud services.
Develop and optimize DAX functions in Power BI and Power Pivot to create complex reports and dashboards.
Insight Generation:
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to build comprehensive Power BI models that align with business goals and improve performance.
Translate intricate business logic into efficient database designs using Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, Views, and T-SQL.
Analyze complex financial datasets to extract actionable insights and deliver high-quality data visualizations.
Automation & Optimisation:
Lead the automation and optimization of BI processes, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a BI Developer, with a focus on AWS and Power BI solutions.
Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and advanced data modeling.
Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Pivot, and AWS services related to data analytics.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop performance-enhancing data models.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on automation and optimization.
