Job Title: Java Backend Developer – Financial Sector
Location: Germany (Hybrid/Remote options available)
Contract Type: Contractor/Freelancer
Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension)
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
– Build scalable and secure APIs for financial platforms.
– Collaborate with product teams to meet business needs and improve application performance.
– Implement data handling solutions for high-volume transactions.
– Ensure code quality through TDD and code reviews.
Requirements:
– 5+ years of Java backend development experience, preferably in finance.
– Strong skills in Spring Framework, Microservices, and REST APIs.
– Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
– Experience with relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
Preferred Skills:
– Experience with messaging systems like Kafka.
– Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.
– Understanding of financial systems and protocols.
