– Java Development Manager

– Task for a good Java developer with experience as a team lead (ratio development/teamlead 40/60)
The requirements:
Required knowledge:
– Java 11: The project uses Java 11. Required: Good knowledge
– XML
– Spring Boot: The project uses spring-context (as a DI framework) in many places; spring-web (creating endpoints) is also used in a few places. No other Spring components are used. Therefore, required:
o Good knowledge: spring-context;
o Basic knowledge: spring-web
– WebServices: The project uses and offers WebServices (SOAP). Requires basic knowledge.
– Maven: Projects in the KDialog environment use Maven. The resulting artifacts are managed in a common Nexus repository. Required: Good knowledge.
– Git: As a version control system, Git is used as part of GitLab. Basic Git knowledge is required.
– Basic Linux knowledge: Basics required, how to install server software on a development machine; how can I retrieve logs, etc…
Welcome additional qualifications:
– GitLab: A separate GitLab server is used as a VCS hosting platform. Explicit knowledge is not necessary, as the software should be self-explanatory for a developer. For the CI, the GitLab internal CI is used; Knowledge would be nice but not necessary.
– Experience in dealing with common web technologies
– Basic knowledge Gradle
– Communication via message queues (e.g. Apache ActiveMQ Artemis): Knowledge
– Programming Paradigm Reactive Programming and Programming Style Pragmatic Functional Java: Basic Knowledge
General requirements:
– University or university degree in an IT-related field of study (e.g. computer science, business informatics, natural sciences, mathematics) and/or a recognised training occupation in the fields of computer science and information technology and/or comparable knowledge and skills acquired in practice.
– at least 3 to 6 years of professional experience have acquired knowledge in application development technologies and developer experience in software development projects (optional for higher seniority levels: and knowledge of application architecture and consulting in software development projects acquired in at least 3 years of professional experience)
– Software development in the JAVA environment
– Requirements analysis or specification of the application system or application design or application architecture or database design
– Application development with agile methods, preferably Scrum
– Documentation of the system specification and design decisions in the software development documentation or tests (component, integration and acceptance tests)
– Commissioning of applications or migration of legacy systems or integration of applications into the infrastructure
– Know-how transfer to employees of the client
Project location: Remote (possibly 1-2 days per month Wiesbaden by arrangement)
Utilization: 5 days/week
Language: very good German at least C2
