Lead IT Architect / Oct. months + extension / Remote
For my client, I am looking for a versed Lead IT Architect to provide a comprehensive IT infrastructure design with focus on security, automation and operational effectiveness
Tasks:
• The Automation General Architect must identify the global automation principles and processes that would need to be followed by the individual service architects, in agreement with all of them. While individual technical services may require specific automation processes, certain global processes would need to be identical, for instance the documentation thereof, the governance behind them, and the integration into ITSM tooling where and if applicable. We expect documentation, training sessions and even developing & testing in a POC phase
• They would also support the individual service architects in developing their automation process, both in a coaching approach as hands-on support. They should provide both acquired experience as well as discovered information concerning automation options for the different services
• They would be the single point of contact towards the ITSM team for the scope of this project, hence streamlining our processes, enhancing end-user (customer) experience as monitoring the progress and priority of ITSM implementations
• Specifically, we expect additional effort in improving, expanding or developing automation on the legacy processes that may need to exist for some time: we have a broad range of server and service profiles which may need to remain (this will be defined during the Infra 2 project)
• This role will require strong collaboration with our domain – specific – automation specialists to align with existing concepts
Skills:
• Deep KnowHow in Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
• Expertise in Ansible
• Deep Knowledge in Terraform
• VMWare Expert
• A broad technical IT knowledge and automation experience is required.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts.
• Capable to create processes, theoretically and convincingly.
• Knowledge in Tufin
• Proven experience regarding Storage Systems (e.g. NetApp)
• Experience with GitOps
• KnowHow in Citrix Netscaler
