Hi,
A medical client of mine based in Munich is currently looking for a freelance embedded software engineer for a 12 month project starting in the next few weeks.
The role will be fully remote.
Below is a breakdown of the project:
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Software Design and Development:**
– Design and implement embedded software for blood pressure monitors, ensuring compliance with medical device standards and regulations.
– Develop and maintain firmware for microcontrollers and processors used in the devices.
– Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code in C/C++ and other relevant languages.
2. **System Integration:**
– Integrate embedded software with hardware components and ensure seamless operation of the blood pressure monitoring system.
– Collaborate with hardware engineers to define software requirements and interfaces.
3. **Testing and Validation:**
– Develop and execute test plans to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability.
– Conduct debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve software issues.
4. **Documentation and Compliance:**
– Prepare detailed documentation for software design, development, testing, and maintenance.
– Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
