My client, a DAX 250 Business are currently seeking a Platform Engineer with experience in Kubernetes, Python, and AWS/GCP and German Language Skills for a 6 month rolling project, focusing on the development of a brand new product. You would be working in a highly capable product team with a large degree of autonomy.
This role is based primarily in Hamburg, with 2-3 days per week remote working allowed.
Required key competencies and qualifications:
• Several years of experience using Infrastructure as Code via e.g. Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform
• Excellent understanding of Containerization tools such as Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of Python from a scripting and software development perspective.
• Experience in working with software development teams in a large environment as a system administrator or software developer
• Expert in deploying cloud-based applications on Amazon Web Services or similar
• Understanding the principles of cloud security to protect cloud data from unauthorised users and malicious attacks
