I am currently looking for a freelancer Senior Solution Architect (m/w/d) in Munich.
Preferred Freelancers who are/can be permanently hired via consultancy/system house/other company /have their own company (2+ppl)
Project:
Start: ASAP
Duration: long-term project –first contract for 1 year- extension possible
Capacity: Full-time
Contract: FREELANCE
Remote and Munich-on site: 95-100% remote, willingness to come on-site in Munich once a month is a big plus
Project languages: English- Fluent and German -Nice to have
Tasks:
• The Solution Architect is expected to define the architecture of the overall project
• The architecture should be defined using microservice principles and will be built upon Azure-based IT-infrastructure.
• Defining the architecture includes aligning requirements and architecture with the respective staff representing individual sub-parts of the project.
• Develop prototypes him-/herself as needed and be involved in the implementation of the project.
• Utilizes generative and predictive ML/AI models for document processing
• Implement prototypes him/herself and accompany the implementation process as provided by further IT experts (such as software developers)
• Participate in regular meetings with the project team, such as daily check-ins, regular core team Jour Fixes, and others

Skills:
• Several years of experience in software development as an architect
• Very good knowledge of interfaces to other business and workflow applications
• Extensive experience in Data Management
• Good understanding of Azure Kubernetes Service
• Advanced Software Architecture Knowledge
• Knowledge of Azure, including expertise in Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework, developing and maintaining robust, scalable applications
• First-hand experience in building large-scale architecture to bring ML models (including Gen AI) and rule-based engines to production in complex IT environment
• Model Deployment: Skills in deploying ML models into production environments, which involves knowledge of cloud platforms (like Azure), container technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• LLM Ops: Experience in building prompt libraries, performance tests and prompt optimization upon switch of Large Language Model and implications on overall infrastructure
• Good software development practices are essential for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient code
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with other team members
